The artist „Tomic“ aka Thomas Martin Wagner is a producer since 1992 and a DJ since 1995. He started producing his own tracks on the legendary KORG M1 and an EMU Sampler. As this was in the early 90’s there were no influences by real techno music, but as he was grown in the 70’s and 80’s by legendary artists like Gorgio Moroder, Visage, Human League, Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk.
His first release in 1997 was on a small label called Bazookah Records from Wuppertal with the project “Fast Lane” and was called “The Fly”. After this release there was a period of silence around Tomic as a producer, because he was only focused in playing as a DJ around the North Rhine Westphalia area in nearly all legendary clubs. His further releases came in the beginning of the new millennium and were Deep and Vocal House oriented. At this time, two Vinyl releases on Kunstfu Records “Schwebebahn EP” and Funksta Records “Feel the Fire”, were released, but are followed again by a long period of silence, because he starts changing his style to Progressive House.
After some releases on Stripped Records he established his own label called “Fraud Recordings” in 2006, on which he released another big package of his own stuff. In 2007 he got the chance to release one track on the compilation “Declivity” on the still very famous and legendary label “Iboga Records”. This was followed by another two releases on the compilations “Platform 01” and “Bakkelit 2.1” on one of the most legendary labels in the Psychedelic Trance and Progressive Trance scene “Spiral Trax”.
In 2009 he released his first artist album called “My Number One” on Spiral Trax which was followed by a lot of remixes on SOG, QOC and Echoes Records.
Nowadays he is back on Progressive House Music with several releases on well known and famous labels.
